Santa Catarina State has the most consistent surf conditions of Brazil. You’ll also find great places to eat, relax and to party!
Baleia
Multiple peaks offer long right and left handers, excellent for cut backs. Another desert beach.
Ponta do Gi
If you want to surf alone, this is the place to be, but remember that other spots nearby may be going epic. Better in the morning, without winds.
Molhes de Laguna
A long workable right beside the break wall and several peaks with rights and lefts in the middle of the beach.
Praia da Ponta
Wonderful wave, when it happens you should be there. It’s a small bay surrounded by rocks.
Gravata
Holds big swell size, pretty long walls after the take off alternating with hollow sections. It’s a beautiful desert beach accessed by a trail through the forest.
Siri
Good option to run away from the crowd. It’s a desert beach easily accessed by the rocks on Praia da Tereza.
Tereza
On east swells, long right-handers can be found on the point break, the beach break also offers high quality lefts and some rights.
Ipua (Ilhota)
With big swells, the barrel rolls straight after take off.
Galheta
A 4 WD is recommended as the sand dunes can block the road. It is a peaceful and quiet place. Always has a surfable wave. Worth a check.
